Sandwiches on the Hill — Elliott Street Deli & Pub

miMaple glazed honey coat ham, mortadella, Genoa salami, pesto mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, roasted peppers, balsamic vinegar, extra virgin olive oil…. hungry yet? These are the ingredients in my favorite sandwich in Atlanta — The Mad Italian at the Elliott Street Deli & Pub in Castleberry Hill.

sandwich-cornerIt’s a bar with REALLY good grub, and a kitchen the size of a postage stamp. White? Wheat? Multi-grain? Ciabatta? They’ve got it.

sandwich-closeupFull bar? Check.

long-island-teaPatio? Check. They’ve got other sandwiches on the menu, but the MI has my heart.

yuengling And that’s a tough thing to say for a Buckeye like myself. Go get some.

ELLIOTT STREET DELI AND PUB 51 Elliott St. S.W. | Atlanta, GA 30313 | (404) 523-2174 – Due to the Mitchell Street bridge closing, I’d recommend caling for directions if you’re not familiar with the area.
