King of Pops

Tangerine Basil, Grapefruit Mint, Blackberry Lemonade… sound good to you? Yep, I thought so. These are but a few of the flavors of popsicles whipped up by Stephen Carse at his paleta cart in Poncey-Highlands. Stephen & his crew have popped up at other locations around town, Souper Jenny, Criminal Records‘ Record Store Day, and today at the Atlanta Street Food Coalition‘s monthly urban picnic.

Their menu changes daily and twitter is often the best way to find out what TKOP is up to on a given day. They’re quite popular and unfortunately I didn’t get one on this trip as the cart was sold out while I was busy snapping photos…but I’ll be back.

I’ll have more photos from today’s picnic for you soon!
