April 5, 2010 - 8:51 am Corinne - Personally, I love zinfandels. I am more of a pink/blush wine drinker than white or red wines, because I feel like the tart taste is not as strong as one way or the other, and is a perfect blend right in between!

April 5, 2010 - 8:52 am Corinne - p.s. Beautiful pictures! :-)

April 5, 2010 - 9:04 am lynn - the earthy aroma of a pinot noir - reminds me of the tie between the soil and the wine. And with the first sip the fruit and berry flavors enter the picture and the world is wonderful.

April 5, 2010 - 9:16 am Peter - Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sav are easy answers, but I tell you which varietal has been overlooked for the past few years is Merlot. There's not much better than a great Stags Leap Merlot, which has the large fruit and complexity of a good cab with the more velvety mouth feel and long smooth finish.

April 5, 2010 - 9:42 am janet wyche - favorite varietal is well, varietals, like Conumdrum, which by the way, has a new vitner, who has changed the formula slightly and not for the better. great event thanks for promoting. PT introduced me to you.

April 5, 2010 - 10:00 am Brittany - I'm a big tempranillo fan, but now that we're moving into warmer weather, I'll probably start drinking more pinot gris.

April 5, 2010 - 10:40 am Dave C. - Recently tried Falanghina for the first time and really dug it. Especially fun to say.

April 5, 2010 - 10:45 am Emily - Pinot Noir is my go-to, but in the summer I really like Albarinos from Spain!

April 5, 2010 - 10:52 am diane - Huge fan of Zinfandel here! Big fan of your great pictures too! Wish we lived closer to attend, but if we I win, I'll donate the prize! ;)

April 5, 2010 - 11:05 am Emily R - I am more a white girl myself and if pressed to pick a favorite, would probably say Gewurztraminer, they pretty much go well with everything, and so refreshing for hot Atlanta =)

April 5, 2010 - 11:10 am Serina - I'm back on shiraz and zins after a long period of garnacha blends from Priorat, but with the warm weather approaching I'll be drinking more champagne and riesling!

April 5, 2010 - 11:14 am Nita Stallard - Any German Riesling is "Superb" paired with light fare, such as seafood, chicken and vegetarian foods. With heavier meats and proteins, I prefer a full-bodied Australian or New Zealand Shiraz.

April 5, 2010 - 11:25 am Julie - Generally prefer zinfandels. Always enjoy your pictures!

April 5, 2010 - 12:39 pm Biskuit - Favorite? Viognier FTW! (oh, and nice pics as ever)

April 5, 2010 - 1:33 pm Tori - Springtime in Atlanta nothing can beat a refreshing Riesling! In a nod to loyalty, the Columbia Valley Chateau St. Michelle is like a burst of lime/passion fruit candy.

April 5, 2010 - 2:57 pm conny - Great giveaway! Lately I have been enjoying Viognier, just in time for this lovely spring weather. Wonderful pics, as always.

April 5, 2010 - 5:10 pm Kate - I love it all :) Lately I've been drinking pinot noir so for this week it's my favorite!

April 5, 2010 - 7:40 pm Jen - I love Pinot Grigios. I'm a white wine lover but am beginning to appreciate the reds as I get a little older.

April 5, 2010 - 8:03 pm Finesse Blumenthal - Well, it depends on my mood, what food I am enjoying and the season. But, you can never go wrong with a sexy Pinot Noir:)

April 5, 2010 - 9:57 pm Ryan - I LOVE toast! I'm so excited to move here and find others with the same affinity celebrating Toast of the Town! Fantastic! Of those available, my favorite varietal is five grain sour dough, thin sliced. ....and it looks like there will be lots of wine to go with the toast. I'd like to find some nice southern Rhone Wines (Viognier grapes) to go with the toast. Thanks!

April 6, 2010 - 9:11 am Tiffany T - I don't usually meet a wine that I don't like! But, if I HAD TO make a choice, I like a nice peppery Syrah in the cooler months and a pinot grigio when it gets warmer!

April 6, 2010 - 6:39 pm hakeber - My favs are reisling (Persimmon Creek!) and cabernet sauvignon.

April 6, 2010 - 6:44 pm harold mcnaron - I love a good Oregon Pinot Noir, but lately I have been into cheap Syrahs.

April 6, 2010 - 10:38 pm David Arias - One of our favorite varietals is Gewurtz! Especially, a dry Gewurtz which is not common over here in the states. It is so refreshing and dynamic with medium spicy foods. A sheer joy.

April 6, 2010 - 10:46 pm kelley - i can drink pinot noir all day long, but the first wine i absolutely fell in love with was a meritage. i have been a red wine girl ever since.
