After a brief stroll around the Wednesday food cart scene in the Rathbun’s parking lot (post will be forthcoming) , Tami and I dropped into the old Shaun’s space to check out One Eared Stag. The new restaurant in Inman Park is brought to us by Robert Phalen, executive chef of Holy Taco in East Atlanta Village.

Sample items from the menu include roasted tomato gazpacho with tomato crab salad, griled veal heart with chimichurri, and pan seared head on gulf shrimp with mojo de ajo, almonds, cilantro and meyer lemon. The apple of our eye however was the Virginia crab roll, accompanied by a small salad lightly dressed with house-infused lemon oil.

I initially planned to get their pork belly sandwich, but this was definitely the way to go with the glass of Gruner Veltliner I had with it. I’m looking forward to checking out the rest of the menu.
