A young volunteer presents 5 Seasons Brewing's ginger pickled tomato sushi

The third annual Attack of the Killer Tomato Festival has come and gone and the weather couldn’t have been better. Sunny skies and a break from the constant 90+ degree heat welcomed folks eager for a taste & imbibe creations celebrating the tomato. The festival benefits Georgia Organics, a member supported nonprofit working to connect organic food from Georgia farms to Georgia families.

The chefs and mixologists at each restaurant were paired with farmers to create a signature dish and drink. The Spazmatics and Atlanta’s chef band Five Bone Rack entertained the crowd. Judges from Food & Wine, Bon Appetit, the AJC and CNN judged the creations & I’m already looking forward to next year. Enjoy the photos!
