Sugar Coated Radical Cash Mob

Taria Camerino, Art Papers fundraiser

Hello all!

My apologize for the craptastic iPhone photo, but I wanted to throw up a quick post about an event this Sunday.  Above you’ll see a photo of Taria Camerino, an enterprising business owner here in Atlanta who sells small batch chocolates and other desserts, always with an eye towards the community that she and her business serve, in addition to where the chocolates themselves are sourced.  Sadly, Taria and her family were victims of a crime this week.

Michaela, of the Atlanta Underground Market has organized a “cash mob” to help Sugar Coated Radical recover financially from this incident this Sunday starting at 9am at their bakery in the Old Fourth Ward. I’ve posted about SCR on several occasions, including their bakery sunday event at their previous location. If you can’t come out, some of their goods can be purchased online at Local Market South.

As far as the deliciousness served above? It was Thai curry cotton candy, and I came back for seconds. OK, maybe thirds.
